GSV Writers' Discussion Group

The GSV Writers' Discussion Group kicks off its 2015 program on Wednesday 4 February at 12.30pm, GSV Meeting Room.

At our first meeting we will review two pieces of writing submitted by members of our group.

Helpful comments and free expert suggestions on editing, structure or any other aspects of better communicating our family history research will no doubt ensue.

The Group is open to all GSV members.

Just turn up to see how we operate and if you would like to join in.

We meet on the first Wednesday of each month (except January) and at our March meeting we will discuss 'What is good family-history writing'.

If you have any writing questions or observations, feel free to add your comments.

  1. To aspiring GSV Writer's Group joiners, you might like to have a look at a couple of family history books published recently by members: 'Two Squatters' by Martin Playne (2013) and 'Commanders of Sail' by Geoff Stephenson (2014). Both are in the GSV Library. Definitely worth a look.
